Vision of Two Rivers

This is a good exhortation. As I looked at this vision, I saw that it was not speaking of two rivers, one good and one bad, but one river which started out clean but was polluted more and more as it passed through man’s hands and went downstream. We were all given the Bible from the mountain of God’s Kingdom. It is truth, it is pure, but many self-ordained, man-ordained shepherds have perverted it to divide the flock unto themselves. Their walk will not permit them to see the truth and purity. Their idols have deceived them, as in Ezekiel 14.

The story of this vision is in Ezekiel 34 and you will notice they had the clear waters in their hand but decided to tweak it to confirm their own evil walk or lifestyles. {Eze.34:18} Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have fed upon the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? {19} And as for my sheep, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet. This is saying, don’t trust second-hand and third-hand, etc. word; go straight to the head of the river and read the Bible and listen to the Spirit for yourself. {Php.2:12} So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Dirty water will not clean the church. {Eph.5:25} Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it; {26} that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, {27} that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

In July, I received a vision from the Lord concerning polluted waters and bad fruit. Before I share that vision, I would like to say that I love the church! I'm passionate about the church and I'm more convinced than ever that the church is God's answer for the world.

Having said that, it is also important to recognize that we aren't where we should be and the Lord is answering with a pure move of His Spirit in our day.

In the vision, the Lord and I were together in a great valley that stretched several miles in each direction from where we were standing. The Lord led me to the banks of this river and it was a relatively wide river with rapidly-moving water. As we approached the banks, I began to notice a horrible smell coming from the water. once we reached the edge of the bank, the smell was overpowering me and it reeked like severely stagnant water and when I looked down into it, there was no life in this water, other than tadpoles and leeches, but no vegetation or fish.
그 환상 속에서, 주님과 나는 함께,, 한 푸른 계곡에 있었는데,, 사방으로 수마일씩 뻗어나간 계곡에 우리는 서 있었습니다. 주님이 나를 이끄시곤,, 이 강의 강 둑으로 갔는데,, 그것은 비교적 꽤 넓은 강으로서,, 물살이 아주 빠르게 흐르고 있었습니다... 우리가 그 강으로 다가가면서,,, 나는 뭔가 느끼기 시작했습니다,, 아주 아주 역겨운 냄새가 그 물에서 풍기고 있다는 것을.. 일딴,, 우리가 그 강둑 가까이로 이르렀을때,, 그 냄재는 정말 나를 완전히 삼켜버릴정도로서,,, 그것은 정말 혹독하게시리,, 썩은 물 같이 악취를 풍겼습니다, 그리고서 내가 그 물속 안쪽 속을 내려다 봤을 때,, 이 물속엔,, 전혀 생명체라곤 없었습니다,, 올챙이와 ,, 거머리들 외엔,, 어떤 식물,, 혹은 어떤 물고기도 없었습니다.
What I was seeing didn't make sense to me because this was an active, rapidly-moving river and should have been full of life. I asked the Lord how this water could be stagnant but yet moving so rapidly. The Lord spoke to me and said that this water wasn't stagnant; it was polluted.
내가 보고 있었던 것을 전혀 믿을 수가 없었습니다,, 왜냐히면,, 이것은 활발하면서,, 아주 빠르게 흐르는 강이었기에,,, 생명이 가득해야 할 곳이었습니다. 나는 주님께 물었습니다,, 어떻게 이 물이 이렇게나 오염되어,, 괴인채,, 썩어있는데,,, 그렇게 빠르게 흐를 수 있는지... 주님이 내게 말씀하여 이르시길,,이 물은 괴어있어,, 썩은 것이 아니라,, 그것은 오염되어져 있다.

He then took me up the river to the mouth of it. The river was flowing out of the side of a mountain. Located at the corner of the valley and the mountain there was a very large factory. It was surrounded by a very high fence with razorwire across the top. The large door had a sign written across the top of the door that read "The Modern Church."
그때,, 그분이 나를 그 강 위쪽,,그 상류 원류쪽으로 데려올라 갔습니다. 그 강은 한 산의 옆쪽 어귀에서 발원하여 흐르고 있었습니다. 그 계곡의 모퉁이에 위치한 채로,, 거기 그 산이 하나의 거대한 공장이었습니다. 그것은 아주 높은 광선 철책( with razorwire) 펜스(울타리) 로 둘러싸인채 였습니다. 그 거대한 입구 문엔,, 그 문위쪽으로,, 가로로,, 가로질러,, 표지가 있었는데,, 쓰여있길 " 현대교회" 라 쓰여있었습니다.
At all four corners were high watchtowers with armed guards on each of them. The Lord spoke to me and said that these watchmen were looking for an enemy, but I thought it wasn't the enemy. I asked the Lord whom they considered their enemy and He said that they were watching for any man or woman who would dare challenge the practices of the modern church.
네 모진 모퉁이 마다엔,, 아주 높은 감시탑이 서 있었는데,, 그 각각엔,,경비원들이 중무장한채 있었습니다. 주님이 내게 말하여 이르길,, 이러한 감시원들은 어떤 원수(an enemy)를 찾고 있다,, 하지만 나는 생각에,, 이 원수는 (내가 생각한) 그 원수(the enemy)가 아니었습니다. 나는 주님께 물었습니다,, 그들이 생각하는 그(들) 원수가 누구죠 ? 주님이 말했습니다,, 그들은 감시하며 찾고있다,, 감히 현대교회의 관행(관습: the practices of the modern church) 들에 반기를 드는 자들,, 어떤 남,여든 찾아내려고.
He then told me that they were highly-trained character assassins and they would stop at nothing to silence the voices of those who would speak out and challenge carnal practices of the modern church system.
그때 그분이 내게 이르시길,, 그들은 아주 높은 고등교육을 받은. 사람 암살자들(highly-trained character assassins)이다 그들은 그 현대교회의 육욕적 관습(관행)들에 반대하여 소리를 높이며,, 도전하는 자들의 목소리을 침묵시키기 위해,, 하지 않은 일이 없다.
We went behind the factory where the river ran beside it and there was a concrete ramp leading down into the water. There were people dumping barrels of substances into this water. Each barrel was labeled. I saw labels like: humanism, universalism, carnality, lus, sexual immorality, compromise, greed, fear of man.
우리는 그 공장 뒤쪽으로 갔습니다,,그기 그 강이 옆으로 빠르게 흐르는 곳으로,, 그기엔 그 강물 속으로 들어가는 콘크리트로 된 경사로, 둔덕 같은 것이 있었습니다. 사람들이 그기서 이 물속으로 어떤 드럼통을 쏟아붓고 있었습니다. 각 드럼통은 딱지표( labels:레테르) 가 붙어있는 것이었습니다.. 나는 그 딱지표를 보았는데 다음의 것이었습니다 : 인본주의(휴머니즘), 보편성(다원주의: universalism), 육욕주의( carnality), 정욕주의(lust), 성적 부도덕( sexsual immorality), 타협(절충), 욕심, 인간을 두려워함(fear of man).
He then led me down the river and we came upon a large fruit field. We crossed a bridge and approached the trees. These trees were some of the greenest trees I've ever seen, but when I approached them they were either void of any fruit, or the fruit was molded, rotten and infested by insects. The Lord told me that these trees were meant to bear good fruit, but the roots were tapped into contaminated and polluted water.
그때 그분이 나를 그 강 아래쪽으로 이끄셨습니다,, 우리는 한 넓은 과일밭에 이르렀습니다. 우리는 다리 하나를 건너선,, 그 과일 나무들에 다가갔습니다. 이러한 나무들,, 정말,, 내가 여지 껏 보아온 것 중 가장 싱그런 초록의 나무들인,, 그런 것이었습니다,, 헌데,, 내가 그것들에 접근했을 때,, 그것들엔,, 전혀 어떤 과일이 없었고,, , 혹은 있는 그 과일은 곰팡이가 슬어,, 썩은 채,, 벌레들에 의해 균에 감염된 상태였습니다. 주님이 내게 이러셨습니다,, 이 나무들은 좋은 열매를 맺도록 되어 있었다,, 하지만,, 그 뿌리가 나쁜균과 접촉, 오염된 물에 연결되어 있다.
We then moved farther down the river to a village. There were people walking around this village. The people were very trendy and modern in their style and dress. I walked up to a man with his back to me and touched his shoulder. He turned around and I stepped back because his eyes were whited out and he was zombified. Death was in his face. I began to declare to him that he was dead, but that I could lead him to life. He began to defend his position with all sorts of philosophies and nothing I said was impacting him. I asked the Lord why the man wouldn't hear me and He said because "he wouldn't endure sound doctrine." The Lord then told me that this man was the product of people eating rotten fruit and drinking from polluted waters.
그때 우리는 그 강의 더 아래쪽,, 한 마을로 내려갔습니다. 이 마을 곳곳엔,, 사람들이 걸어다니고 있었습니다. 그 사람들은 아주 패션감각이 뛰어났고,, 그들 삶이나 옷 매무새도,, 아주 현대적이었습니다. 나는 한 남자의 뒤쪽으로 걸어 다가가선,, 그의 어께를 만져봤습니다. 그가 몸을 돌렸고,, 순간 나는 뒤쪽으로 발을 움찔 빼었습니다,,왜냐하면 그의 두 눈알이 하얀색으로 확 드러나 보인체,, 좀비(zombified)로 보였기때문이었습니다. 사망이 그의 얼굴에 드리워져 있었습니다. 나는 그에게 외치기 시작했습니다,,그는 죽었다고,, 하지만 나는 그를 생명으로 이끌수가 있었습니다. 그가 그의 현 상태를 옹호하기 시작했습니다,, 온 갖종류의,, 철학적 언변으로,,내가 그에게 뭐라 말했지만,, 어떤말도 그를 일깨우는 충격을 주지못했습니다. 나는 주님게 물었습니다,, 왜 그 남자가 내 말을 들으려 하지 않는지를, 그분이 말했습니다,, 이유는,, " 견고(건전)한 교리(sound doctrine)를 그가 고통스러워 받아들이지 않으려 하기때문이다." 그때 주님이 내게 이러셨습니다,, 이 남자는 그 썩은 열매를 먹고,, 그 오염된 물에서 나온 것을 먹은 사람들의 그 결과물이다..
The part that stood out the most about this encounter with this man was the fact that he was utterly convinced he was alive. He couldn't be of his condition.
이 남자와의 마주침에서 가장 두러려지게 알게된 것은,, 그가 철저하게 확신하고 있었다는 것입니다,,그가 살아있다고. 그는 그의 상태에 대해 알이켜주어도,, 설득이 될수가 없었습니다.
From here, the Lord then took me into the mountain where the river began. He took me past the factory and into a cave where the water was coming out. He took me up into the mountain and the water flowing through this mountain was the clearest, most beautiful water I've ever seen. (The polluted river had one beginning, one mouth, and it was clean. Its beginning is in the mountain that represents the Kingdom of God.) This water was living and vibrant. The Lord spoke to me that this river was the pure movement of His Spirit. He told me that this river was where His power and anointing was found. He said that many people are looking for Him in the "valley of man," but He wasn't found there. He was found in the hill of the Lord. (Reminds me of Ezekiel 34 where the shepherds partook from the pure waters of the Word but fouled it by their own walk. It was their own factory to turn out duplicates of themselves, so God's solution was to depart from them and take His sheep and minister to them the pure water through his end-time David Man-children.)
여기서 이제, 그때, 주님이 나를 그 강이 발원을 시작한 곳,, 그 산 속, 안으로 데려갔습니다. 그분이 나를 그 공장을 지나쳐서,, 어떤 동굴,,그 물이 솟아나오는,,그 곳으로 데려갔습니다. 그분이 나를 나를 그 산 안쪽 속으로 완전히 데려들어갔고,, 거기,, 그 물, 이 산을 관통해서 흐르는,,그것,, 가장 깨끗한 상태,, 가장 아름다운 물이 있었습니다. ( 그 오염된 강은 원래 하나의 시작지,, 하나의 출구를 가졌더랬습니다,, 그것은 깨끗했습니다,, 그것의 시작지(발원지)가,, 하나님의 왕국을 상징(표징)하는 그 산에 있습니다.) 이 물은 살아있었고,, 생동하고 있었습니다. 주님이 내게 말씀하시길,, 이 강은 그분 영의 순수한 움직임이라 했습니다. 그분이 내게 말했습니다,, 이 강은 그분의 능력과 기름 부음이 있는 장소라고. 그분이 말했습니다,, 많은 사람들이 그분을 " 인간 계곡(valley of man)" 에서 찾고 있다고 하지만 그분은 거기에선 찾을 수 없다고. 그분은 주님의 언덕(계곡)에서 찾을수 있다고. He told me that He was issuing an invitation to His people to come and flow in this river. He said that even though the invitation was to all of His ministers, many wouldn't tap into it because of what was going to be required to flow there. (They would have to take up their cross to lose their old life but their love of the world won't permit it.)
그분이 내게 이러셨습니다,, 그가 한 초대장을 그분의 백성된 이들에게 보내고 있다고,, 와서.. 이 강물 속에서 흐르며 놀라고..그분이 말했습니다,, 그 초대가 그 분의 성직자(대행자) 된 모두에게 주어졌지만,, 많은 자들이 그것에 연결되어 마시려 하지 않는다고,,왜냐하면 그곳에서 흐르며 놀기 위해선,, 요구되어질 것이 있기 때문에. (그들은 그들 자신의 십자가를 지고서,, 그들 자신의 옛 생명을 버려야 합니다,, 하지만 세상을 사랑함은 그것을 허락하지 않습니다.)
He then gave me the following requirements to stay in the pure river:

Only say what He says with no fear of man

Honor Him and love Him more than the praise of man

Abstain from sexual immorality

Never prostitute the gift He has given me for money

Stay humble
-
Always be a good husband to my wife and a good father to my children
그때 그분이 내게 다음의 요구 조건들을 주셨습니다,, 그 순전한 강에서 흐르며 놀기 위해.
. 오직 그분이 말하는 것을 사람을 두려워 하지 말고 말하십시오
. 그분을 높이고,, 그분을 사랑하십시오,, 인간의 높혀주는 말보다도
. 성적 부도덕을 피하십시오
. 결코 그분이 주신 은사를 돈을 위해 팔지 마십시오
. 낮은 자리에 머무십시오
. 언제나 나의 아내에게 좋은 남편, 나의 자녀들에게 좋은 아버지가 되십시오
He said if I would maintain these things in my life and ministry, He would allow me to flow in His pure river. He then said if I violate any of these things then I would no longer be able to stay in the mountain of God.
그분이 말했습니다,, 만약 내가 이러한 것들을 내 삶 속에서 지켜 유지할 것이면,,그분이 내게 그분의 순전한 강물 속에서 흐르며 놀도록 하실 것이라고. 그때 그분이 말했습니다,, 만약 내가 이러한 것들 중 어느 것이라도 어긴다면,, 그럼 난,, 더 이상 하나님의 그 산에 머물 수 없다고.
He then quoted {Psa.24:3} Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? {4} He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. {5} He will receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
그때 그분이 다음의 말씀을 인용했습니다{시편 24:3-5} 여호와의 산에 오를 자가 누구며 그의 거룩한 곳에 설 자가 누구인가 곧 손이 깨끗하며 마음이 청결하며 뜻을 허탄한 데에 두지 아니하며 거짓 맹세하지 아니하는 자로다 그는 여호와께 복을 받고 구원의 하나님께 의를 얻으리니
He said that many ministers begin their ministries in the clean river, but after time, find themselves in the valley. He warned me strongly that once you go down to the valley, though it's possible to make your way back to the mountain, it is almost impossible because many times it will require public repentance and public humility. Many have trouble dealing with their pride to do that.
그분이 말했습니다,, 많은 성직자(목사)들이 그들 성직을 그 깨끗한 강물에서 시작한다,, 하지만 시간이 지난 후,, 그들은 그 계곡에 있는 자신들을 발견한다고.. 그분이 내게 강하게 경고했습니다. 일딴 너가 그 계곡 아래쪽으로 내려가면,, 너의 길을 그 산으로 되돌리기가 가능할찌라도,, 그것은 거의 불가능하다,, 많은 때에 그 일은 공개적인 회개함, 공개적인 낮아짐을 요구한다. 많은 자들이 그렇게 하기 위한 것으로 요구되는 자긍심을 처리하는데 어려움이 있다.
My prayer in this hour is that the true church of Jesus Christ would rise up with clean hands and pure hearts. There are two rivers flowing. Let's decide to flow where He is flowing.
