바다가 바빌론 위로 넘쳐올랐으니 ; 그 무수한 파도들로 덮혔음이라.
바다가 바벨론에 넘침이여 그 노도 소리가 그 땅을 뒤덮었도다(개혁개정)
Jeremiah 51:42
The Spirit of the Lord spoke this to me this morning:
주(여호와)의 영이 이것에 오늘아침 내게 말했습니다:
"I tell you that devastation is coming to the land. For those things that you have been preparing for; those things that you have wondered about; those things that you have heard the report of; they are coming, says the Lord.
" 내가 네게 말한다,, 황폐게 함이 지면으로 오고있다. 이는 너가 대비해 오고 있었던 것; 너가 궁금해 했었던 것들; 너가 보도에서 접해왔었던 것들; 그것들이 오고 있다, 주의 말이니라.
But I have never left you alone without protection. For even as this hurricane hits the land, so another "great wind" will come to your land. It will come at a time when your land is busy with its affairs on the world's stage. It will come when that new leader sits upon the throne of your land.
하지만 내가 결코 너를 보호없이 홀로 남겨두지 않았다. 이는 바로 이 허리케인이 지면을 강타하는 것처럼, 그겋게 또 다른 " 큰 바람(강풍)" 이 너희 지면(땅)으로 이를 것이다. 그것이 너희 지면이 세상무대위에서 그 관계된 일로 바쁠 한 때에 올 것이다. 그것이 올 것이다,,그때 그 새로운 인도자(리더)가 너희 땅의 왕좌에 앉게 될 것이다.
For your eyes will be diverted elsewhere. The coastlines will suffer great loss on that day. High-rise buildings will be swept into the sea. The trees will bend and will be uprooted. The voices of my prophets will have warned you, but many of you will have chosen to ignore their warnings.
이는 너희 눈이 다른데로 돌려질 것이기 때문이다. 해안선(해안가)들이 그 날에 크게 상실의 고통을 당할 것이다. 높이 솟은 건물들이 바다속으로 빠져들 것이다. 나무들이 구부르지고, 뿌리채 뽑힐 것이다. 내 선지자들의 목소리가 너희에게 경고했었다, 하지만 너희중 많은이가 그들 경고를 무시하기로 했다.
How will you fortify your land for that day? How will you know when it's about to happen? Will your great stock pile of guns save you on that day? The great angel that stands upon the continent of your land will blow his trumpet on that day; and that sound will be heard around the globe."
어떻게 너희가 그 날을 위해 너희 지면을 튼튼히 할 것이냐 ? 너희가 어떻게 알것이나,, 그 곧 일어날 때를 ? 너희의 거대하게 쌓아놓은 총들이 그 날에 너희를 구해줄 것이냐 ?
너희 대륙위로 선 대 천사가 그 날 그의 나팔을 불 것이다 ; 그리고 그 소리가 지구전역으로 들릴 것이다. "
