26 This is the interpretation of the thing: Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
27 Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
그리고 이것이 쓰여있는 그 글이니, 메네 메네 테겔 우르파신이라.
이것이 그것의 해석이니 : 메네;하나님이 당신왕국의 날을 헤아려서,,그것을 끝냈었다.
테겔; 그대가 저울에 달렸고, 부족함이 발견되었다.
"The world waits in anticipation as the players soon re-enter the arena. What do you expect, oh land that once was called the land of the free and the home of the brave?
" 세상은 기대로 기다린다,,그 선수들이 곧 그 경기장으로 재 입장하면서. 너희가 무엇을 기대하니? 오 한때 자유한 이의 땅, 용감한 자들의 고향이라 불렸던 땅아.
What great sign of deliverance do you think that either of these two
will do for you?
You have been on a road to perdition for some time now. The land is filled with bloodshed on every corner, and you think that one person can solve the problem?
어떤 큰 해방의 징조(표지)를, 이러한 두개 각각이 너희에게 행하여 줄 것이라 생각하니 ?
너희는 이제 한 동안 파멸(멸망)로 난 길에 있었왔다. 그 땅 굽이굽이마다 피흘림으로 채워져 있다, 그리고 너희는 생각하니 ? 한 사람이 그 문제를 해결해 줄 수 있을 것이라고 ?
Oh foolish generation! Oh, foolish land! But if you had chosen ashes and repentance, instead of pride and arrogance, then the direction of your demise would have changed.
오 어리석은 세대여! 오 어리석은 땅이여! 그러나 만약 너희가 재를 둘러쓰고 회개하기로 선택했었더라면,, 긍지와 거만함에 젖지않고,,그럼 너희 소멸(붕괴)의 방향이 바뀌었을 것을.
The world waits in anticipation---it watches as your land reels back-and-forth like a ship on the stormy seas. Great unrest ensues and deceit and civil unrest, will be the outcome.
세상이 기대로 기다린다 --- 그것이 주시한다,, 너희 땅이 갈짓자로 휘청이는 것을,, 폭풍우속의 한 배처럼. 거대한 동요(정정불안)이 잇따라 있고, 기만과 시민동요가 그 결과로 있을것이다.
Those of you who have prophesied bright and sunny days are not hearing from Me. You speak from your own imaginations. You have read the books of your childhood dreams. You have not stood in my council.
너희 밝은 태양이 빛나는 날들을 예언했던 자들은 내게서 듣고있지 않다. 너희는 너희 자신의 상상함들로 내 뱃는다. 너희는 너희 어린시절꿈 얘기책들을 읽었다.
What would be the answer to these things that you might seek? What sign post have you followed that would speak of sunny days, rather than calamity for this nation?
너희가 찾아 구할 이러한 것들에 대한 해답이 무엇이겠느냐 ? 어떤 표지판을 보고 따라갔었느냐? 이 민족을 향한 재앙보다,, 밝은 날들을 말해왔던,,(이들이여)
I have found you wanting...You have been weighed in the balance. But in spite of these things, I still have a remnant, a people who have devoted their lives to Me. They follow not the things of this world, and they choose not to bury their heads in the sand. They will be lights to those who are all around them. They will point to the way, 'This is the way, walk ye in it.' "
