After church on Friday night as we were leaving the mall, the Cicada's were singing loudly, and I said to Pat that Fall is coming soon. The Seasons are changing, but are we paying attention? Atmospheres are shifting, but many are not being watchful.
금요일 밤,, 교회를 마치고,, 우리가 위치한 그 몰상점을 떠나고 있었는데,, 매미가 요란하게 울고 있었습니다,, 그래서 내가 팻에게 말했습니다,, 가을이 곧 오고 있어요. 계절이 바뀌고 있습니다, 하지만 우리가 주목하고 있습니까 ? 대기가 바뀌고 있습니다, 하지만 많은자들이 주시하질 않고 있습니다.
A few days ago, I heard the honking of a flock of Canadian geese flying south for the winter. I stopped what I was doing and looked up. I watched them traverse the sky until they were out of sight and sound. Each year the geese are my first signal that fall is approaching.
몇 일전,, 나는 캐나다 기러기 떼가 겨울을 보내러 남쪽으로 날으며,, 격한 소리를 내고 있는것을 들었습니다. 나는 내가 하고 있던 일을 멈추고서,, 올려다 보았습니다. 나는 그것들이 상공을 통과해,, 그것들이 내 시야에서 사라져,, 소리가 더 이상 들리지 않을때까지 날아가는 것을 지켜봤습니다. 매년, 그 기러기들이 가을이 오고 있다는 첫 번째 신호입니다.
As the geese were flying overhead, I sensed the Lord was speaking to me using the geese to gain my attention. The Lord was saying this will be a different change of season in our world. The unexpected will arrive catching many off balance and off guard. As the Lord spoke, I felt He was asking me to be prepared for what is coming by strengthening my faith in Him and making sure nothing was allowed to remain in my heart that was not in line with His will.
I write this to encourage each of us to look around us and discern the indicators of a coming change in spiritual seasons. 2024 will not be a typical year. It will be a year of dramatic change on the global stage and within the Church. The strength that comes from our ability to experience joy in the middle of the turmoil will become our witness of God's presence in a confused and fearful world.
그 기러기들이 위쪽으로 날고 있을때,, 나는 자각했습니다,, 주님이 내게 내 시선을 끌기 위해 그 기러기를 사용하여 말씀하고 계시다는 것을. 주님이 말하고 있었습니다,, 이것은 우리 세상에 한 다른 바뀜의 계절이 될 것입니다. 예기치 않은 것들이 일어날 것이고,, 많은 것들이 균형을 잃고서,, 방심한 채로 붙들릴 것입니다. 주님이 말했을때에 나는 느낌에 그 분이 내게 그 분을 믿는 나의 믿음을 강하게 하므로서,, 오고 있는 일에 대비하라 요청하는 느낌이었습니다 그리고,, 내 마음속에 그 분의 뜻(바램,의지)과 일치하지 않는 어떤것도 허락한채로 머물지 않도록 하라는, 느낌의.
나는 이것을 우리 각자에게 용기를 더하고,, 우리 주변을 돌아보고,, 영의 계절들속에서 오는 변화를 보여주는 표시기를 알아보라고 씁니다. 2024 년은 일상적인 보통의 한 해가 아닐 것입니다. 그것은 지구 무대위에, 그리고 교회내에서 극적인 변화가 있는 한 해가 될 것입니다. 그 격동 한 가운데서 기쁨을 경험토록,, 우리 힘에서 나오는 그 강함이 하나님의 임재,, 혼란과,, 두려움의 한 세상속에 있는,, 힘(강함)의 그 증거가 될 것입니다.
As the geese were flying over our home, I felt joy at the sound of their honking. To discern the indicators of a coming change in our world in areas like politics, economics, or personal relationships, our capacity to experience joy in the middle of what is coming will be the most accurate measure of our spiritual health.
“For the joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10).
그 기러기들이 우리 집 위쪽으로 날아 갈때에,, 나는 그것들이 내는 격한 소리에 기쁨을 느꼈습니다. 우리의 세상 영역, 정치, 경제, 혹은 개인의 인간관계, 우리의 능력들에 오고 있는 다가오는 변화들을 보이는 그 지시기(지시함)를 알아차리므로서,, 그 오고 있는 것의 한 가운데서 기쁨을 경험하는 것은 우리 영적 건강의 가장 정확한 척도가 될 것입니다.
" 이는 여호와를 기뻐하는것이 너희의 힘이니라 " (느혜미야 8:10).
