“THE TOWER OF BABEL REVISITED”
" 다시 방문하는 바벨탑 "

1 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As men moved
eastward, [a] they found a plain in Shinar [b] and settled there. 3 They said to
each other, "Come, let's make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They used brick
instead of stone, and tar for mortar. Gen. 11:1-3
그때 온 세상이 하나의 언어를 가지고 있었고 공통의 말을 가졌더라. 2 사람들이 동쪽으로 이동하면서 시나르의 한평지를 발견하고 거기에 정착하였더라. 3 그들이 서로에게 말하길 " 자 , 벽돌을 만들어 그것을 잘 굽자." 그들이 돌대신 벽돌을, 회반죽 대신 진을 사용하였더라. 창세기 11:1-3
(The spirit of the Lord showed me a flurry of activity. As I continued to watch this scene, I noticed that something was being erected. With arms raised and lowered furiously, a tower was beginning to be formed. At first the structure appeared to look like a tree that was becoming bigger and bigger, but as I continued to watch, the structure was taking on the form of a tower. It went higher and higher into the sky. Eventually, a road of some type was being formed around the perimeter of the structure. It wound its way in a circular pattern around the edge of this tower, and people were walking on it. Then it seemed, that the activity had finished. The tower which was made of stone, resembled the ancient Tower of Babel. Then the vision faded.)
(주의영이 나에게 어떤 강한 움직이는것을 보여주셨습니다. 내가 계속해서 그 장면을
지켜보면서, 어떤것이 세워지고 있는것을 알수 있었습니다. 아주 열심이 손들을 내렸다 올렸다 하므로서, 한 타워(망대)가 만들어지기 시작했습니다. 처음에 그 구조물은
점점 커가고 있는 한그루의 나무 같았습니다, 하지만 내가 계속해서 지켜보자 그 구조물은 타워의 형상을 이루고 있었습니다. 그것은 점점 하늘로 솟아 올라 갔습니다.
마침내 어떤 길모양이 그 구조물 둘레를 돌아가며 만들어지고 있었습니다.
그것은 그 구조물 테두리를 원형으로 돌아가며 그 길을 감아올렸고, 사람들이 그리로 걸어가고 있었습니다. 그때는 그 작업이 끝난 것 처럼 보였습니다. 그 타워는 돌로 만들어져 있었고 고대의 바벨탑과 닮아 보였습니다. 그때 그 환상이 사라졌습니다.)
“The days are hastening to my soon return. Men have decided to advance
their own causes. In the ancient past, men attempted to build a Tower of Babel
that would extend to the sky. They now continue their quest. Men and women want
to reach the sky. They think that with their great achievements, they can become
like Me. But I tell you, their quest is in vain. You cannot come up to my throne
on your own. You can only come to Me through my Son. Thus, is the great tragedy
of these days. Many search for their own answers. “
" 날들이 나의 곧 있을 나의 재림을 재촉하고 있다. 인간들은 그들 자신의 대의 명분들을
진행 시키기로 결정했다. 오랜 옛날에,인간들이 하늘에 까지 미칠 바벨탑을 쌓기를 시도했었다.
그들이 지금도 그들의 추구하는 바를 계속한다. 남자와 여자들이 하늘에 다다르기를 원한다. 그들이 생각하길 큰 업적을 이루므로 나같이 될 수 있다고...
그러나 내가 너희에게 말하지만 그들의 추구하는 바는 허사다.
너희는 내 보좌에 너희 자신의 힘으로 이를 수 없다. 오직 내 아들을 통해 나에게
올 수있다. 이렇게 그 큰 비극이 오늘날에도 여전하다.
많은자들이 그들 자신에게서 나온 답을 찾고있다."
