The spirit of Babylon clothes itself in the garments of vanity, the illusion that makes nothingness to appear as though it is something desirable, great, and beautiful in the sight of all those who have the darkness to be the light in their vision. When I came into this world, even my own people could not see any greatness or beauty in me because they saw nothing in me that could help them in exalting, or in beautifying, or in glorifying the vain images that they had made of themselves.
바빌론 영은 그 자신을 헛된 무익한 겉옷, 환영(환각)으로 옷입힌다,,,, 무가치한 것, 그 어둠을 마치 그것이 가질만한,, 위대하고 아름다운것으로 된 빛으로 된 것으로 보이도록.. 내가 이 세상속으로 들어왔을 때,, 심지어 내 자신의 백성된 자들마저도,, 내 속의 어떤 위대함 혹은 아름다움을 볼 수가 없었다,, 왜냐하면 그들이 내속에서 ,, 그들이 그들자신으로 만들었던 그 헛된 이미지를 높여주고,, 혹은 아름답게해주고, 혹은 영광스럽게 해줄것의 아무것도 보지 못했기 때문에,, ,,,....
They were to occupied with serving and worshipping the beauty of their self-images because the images they saw with their eyes deceived them into believing that they were righteous and good; which they thought to be spiritual righteousness and goodness of God. Again, these are the works of the spirit Babylon, to confuse the children of God with double-mindedness.
그들은 그들 자신의 이미지로 된 그 아름다운것을 섬기고 예배하는 것으로 점유 당했었다,, 왜냐하면 그들이 그들눈으로 기만을 당한채 본 그 이미지가 그들을 속여 그들이 하나님의 영적인 의로움과 선이라 생각했던 것이,, 그들을 의롭고,, 선하다 믿도록 했기때문이다; 다시, 이러한것들이 그 바빌론영의 역사함들이다,, 하나님의 자녀들을 두마음으로 혼동시키는.
These are the vain works of the double-minded who desire to make themselves to be great and beautiful in the sight of their own eyes, as well as in the sight of others. It is the spirit Babylon that speaks in the thoughts of the double-minded saying, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the greatest and most beautiful of them all?” This is the idolatry of all who do not know God, the idolatry of the ignorant who think that the darkness within them is the light of God.
이러한 것들이 그 두마음의 정신의 자들이 하는 헛된 일이다,, 그들 자신을 그들자신의 눈 보기에 아름답고,, 위대하게 만들기를 바라고 있는,, 더불어,, 다른 사람들의 눈에 보기에도... 그 바빌론 영은 그 두마음의 사람들 생각속에서 말한다,, ," 거울아, 거울아,, 누가 그들 모두 중에서 가장 위대하고 아름다우니 ? " 이것이 하나님을 모르는 모든이들의 우상숭배이다,, 그들속의 그 어둠을 하나님의 빛으로 생각하는 무지한자들의 우상숭배.
The blind cannot see the vanity that is in the works of men’s hands; the works that men do so that they may outwardly appear righteous and pleasing in their own eyes, as well as in the sight of other men also. Where there is vanity, there you will find the spirit Babylon; always trying to make that which is nothing to be appear as that which should be served and worshipped.
소경들은 그 헛된것,,인간들 손으로 이룬 일들의,,그것을 볼 수가 없다; 인간들이 그들이 겉으로 의롭고,, 그들자신 눈보기에 기쁨이 되도록,, 하기 위해 인간이 하는 그 일들을, 더불어 다른이들 눈 보기에도 역시,,그러하다..헛된것이 있는 곳에서,, 너는 그 바빌론영을 발견한다; 언제나 아무것도 아닌것을 섬기고 존경받아야 할만한 것으로 만들려하면서.
Their vanity is their hypocrisy, and their hypocrisy is the works of their double-mindedness. A man is not the illusion that he makes himself to appear as, but he is that which he thinks in heart. I came into this world as the light that reveals the truth about vanity.
그들의 헛된것은 그들의 위선이다,, 그들의 위선은 그들 두마음의 일(역사)함이다. 인간은 그가 그자신으로 보이도록 만드는 그 환영이 아니다, 대신 그는 그가 심령속에서 생각하는 그것이다. 나는 이세상에 빛으로 들어왔다,, 헛된것에 대한 진실을 드러내는...
I did not come into this world to exalt and glorify vanity, but as the light that reveals the truth about the nothingness of vanity. I came into this world to reveal my Father to all of the children of this world that desire to know him; to remove the enmity of ignorance that through vain works has kept man alienated from God’s fellowship and separated from the blessings and goodness of Father’s love.
나는 이 세상에 들어오지 않았다,, 헛된것을 높이고,, 영광스럽게 하기 위해, 대신 헛된것의 하찮음에 대한 진실을 드러내는 빛으로 왔다. 내가 이 세상속으로 들어왔다,, 내 아버지를 드러내기 위해,, 그를 알기 원하는 이세상 자녀들 모두에게; 그 무지의 증오를 제거하기 위해,, 그 헛된일들로,,인간을 하나님과의 사귐에서 떼어놓고,, 아버지 사랑의 축복됨과 선하신에서 갈라놓는.
Ecclesiastes 1:2 “Vanity of vanities”, says the Preacher, “Vanity of vanities; all is vanity…14 “I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

Though you clothe yourself with scarlet, though you deck yourself with ornaments of gold, though you paint your eyelids and make them look farther apart, in vain you beautify yourself. Your lovers (allies) (the seven unclean spirits) despise you. They seek your life.”
예레미야 4:30 " 너희 약탈당한자여,, 너희가 황폐하게 되었을때(홀로; 신에게서 멀어져서) 어떻게 할 것이냐 ? 너희가 너희자신을 주홍으로 옷 입힐찌라도,, 너희가 너희자신을 금장식으로 치장할찌라도, 너희가 너희 눈섭을 칠하고,, 더 떨어지게 보이게 할찌라도,, 너는 헛되이 너희자신을 치장한다. 너희연인(동맹자)들(그 일곱 더러운 영) 이 너를 경멸한다. 그들이 너희생명을 구한다."
Matthew 23:24-28 “You blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within you are full of extortion and excess. For you are like whited tombs which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead bones, and of all uncleanness (self-righteousness). Even so you outwardly appear righteous to men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”
이는 너희는 회칠한 무덤과 같이.. 실재, 겉으론 아름다워보이나,, 하지만 내부는 죽은 뼈들과 온갖 더러움(자기의)으로 가득했기때문이다. 바로 그렇게 너희는 겉으론 사람들에게 의로워 보이나,, 너희속엔 위선과 심한 부정으로 가득하다."
Acts 14:14,15 “When the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard these things, they tore their clothes, and ran in among the people crying out, and saying, “Sirs, why do you do these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and we preach to you that you should turn from these vanities to the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.”
사도행전 14:14,15 " 사도들과 바나바, 바울이 이러한것들을 들었을때,, 그들이 그들 옷을 찟고,, 그 사람들 사이로 달려가서,, 외쳐이르길,, " 선생들이여, 왜 이러한것들을 행합니까? 우리 모두는 당신들과 마찬가지고 정욕을 가진 사람들입니다,, 우리는 당신들에게 당신들이 이러한 헛된짓들에서 살아계신,, 하늘과, 땅, 바다,, 그 속의 모든것을 지어신,, 그 신에게로 돌아서야 한다 전하는것입니다."
Job 35:13 “Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.”
욥35:13 " 틀림없이,, 신이 헛된것을 듣지않을 것이며,, 전능자가 그것을 고려치도 않을 것이다."
Jeremiah 10:14-15 “Everyone is senseless without knowledge; every goldsmith is shamed by his idols. His images are a fraud because they have no breath in them. They are vanity, the objects of mockery, and when their judgment comes, they will perish.”
예레미야 10:14-15 " 모든이들이 지각이 없어 지식이 없다; 모든 대장장이는 그 만든우상으로 부끄럼을 당한다. 그의 형상들은 기만이다,, 왜냐하면 그것들은 그 속에 호흡이 없기 때문이다. 그것들은 허된것으로,, 조롱의 대상이다,, 그들의 심판이 올때,,그들은 사멸할 것이다."
Acts 17:28-30 “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent.”

II Timothy 4:3,4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
딤후 4:3,4 " 이는 그때가 올 것이다, 그때,, 그들이 견고한 교리를 견더내지 못하고,,대신 그들 자신의 정욕들을 쫓아서,, 그들이 스스로에게 선생들을 무더기로 정령 쌓을 것이다,, 가려운 귀를 긁어주는.. 그리고 그들은 그들의 귀을 진리에서 돌이켜,, 우화와 같은 얘기들에 같다댈 것이다.
1 Corinthians 13:2 “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but if I have not love, I am nothing.”
고전 13:2 " 내가 예언의 은사를 가져,, 모든 비밀과 모든지식을 이해할찌라도; 내가 산을 옮길수 있는 모든 믿음을 소유했을찌라도,, 하지만 내가 사랑이 없다면,, 내가 아무것도 아니다."
The spirit of Babylon moves freely about in the darkness of the mind that is ignorant of God, always forming images of God through the opinions it brings forth to mask their ignorance of God. It also through this ignorance that men will also make doctrines that will further confuse men as to what their true identity is; doctrines that require men to do the works that make them to appear as God.
바빌론 영은 하나님(신)을 알지 못하는 그 정신의 어둠속을 자유로이 돌아다닌다,, 언제나,, 그 정신이 그들 하나님 모르는 것을 가리는데,, 만든 의견들을 통해 신의 이미지를 형성해 내면서. 그것은 또한 인간들 역시도,, 이런 무지를 통해,, ,, 그들의 진정한 정체를 혼돈케 하는.. 교리를 만들어내어,, 더욱,, 인간들을 혼돈시킨다; 인간들이 그들을 신처럼 보이게 하도록 하는 일들을 할것을 요구하는 교리들을.
It is only in the darkness of man’s ignorance that the spirit of Babylon leads men to make these false images and idols, whether they be false images of God, or the idols that men make of themselves. Nevertheless, these are the false images and the idols that ignorant men will worship and serve as their God. The spirit of Babylon loves to deceive men by coming in the name of the Lord, to turn the hearts of men away from the truth of God so that they may worship and serve these lies that appear as the truth, the works that seem to bring forth goodness and righteousness.
그 바빌론영이 인간들을 이끌어,, 이러한 거짓 이미지들과 우상들을 만들도록 하는것은 단지 인간이 무지의 어둠속에 있기때문이다,, 그것들이 인간들이 그들 자신으로 만드는 신, 거짓된 이미지이든, 혹은 우상이든. 그럼에도불구하고,, 이러한 거짓 이미지와 그 우상들을 무지한 인간들은 예배하고 섬긴다,, 그들의 신으로서,. 바빌론영은,, 인간들을 주의 이름으로 오는것을 가지고 사람들을 속이는 것을 아주 좋아한다, 인간들의 마음을 신의 진실(진리)에서 돌려세워 멀어지게 한다,,그래서 그들이 이러한, 진리처럼 보이는 거짓들을 예배하고 섬기도록,, 그 선함과,, 의로움을 낳아주는 것처럼 보이는 일들을.
The work of the spirit Babylon is to deceive ignorant men into worshipping and serving the creature rather than God the Creator; and in doing so, they truly believe that they are actually serving and worshipping God because they are blind to see the truth.
바빌론영의 일들은 무지한 인간들을 속여서,, 창조주 하나님보다,, 창조생물을 예배하고 섬기도록 한다; 그렇게 함에 있어,, 그들은 실재 믿는다,,그들이 실재로,, 신을 섬기고 예배하고 있다고,, 왜냐하면,, 그들이 눈이멀어 진리를 보지못하기때문이다.
All of the works of the spirit Babylon are seen when the people of God have their identity confused with God’s identity because they never examined or judged themselves to prove whether the seeing in their eyes was light from God or the darkness that appears as the light. For this reason, that which is right in the sight of the spirit Babylon will also be that which is right in their sight because their senses have become one; and having become one, they make their soul unclean in the sight of God through the righteousness that is in their double-mindedness.
그 바빌론영의 모든일들은,, 그 하나님의 사람들이 그들의 정체를 신의 정체와 혼돈할 때,, 보인다,, 왜냐하면 그들은 결코,, 그들자신을 검사하거나, 혹은 그들자신을 판단하지 않았기 때문이다,,,그들눈의 봄이 하나님에게서 온 빛인지,, 혹은 빛으로 보이는 어둠인지를 시험하기 위해. 이런연유로,, 그 바빌론영의 보기에 옳은그것이 또한 그들보기에 옳은그것이 된다, 왜냐하면 그들의 지각이 하나가 되었기에; 그리고 하나가 되므로서,, 그들은 그들혼을 하나님보시기에 더럽게 만든다,, 그들 두 마음속에 있는 그 의를 통해.
John 16:1-4 Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you so that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues. Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you (whether by the blade of steel or the sword of the tongue) will think that he does God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor me. But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them.”
요한복음 16:1-4 예수님이 말했습니다," 이러한 것들을 내게 너희에게 말했다,, 그래서 너희가 실족하지 않도록. 그들이 너희를 회당바깥에 둘 것이다. 그렇다, 그때가 오고있다,, 너희를 죽이는자들이 [쇠로된 칼이던지,, 혀의 칼이던지] 생각하길, 그가 하나님을 섬기고 있다 할 것이다. 그리고 이러한 것들을 그들이 너희에게 행할것이다, 왜냐하면 그들이 아버지를 나를 몰랐기에. 하지만 이러한 것들을 내가 너희에게 일러주었다, 그 때가 오면 너희가 내가 그들에 대해 말했다는 것을 기억하도록." Romans 1:21-26 “When they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and they changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections…”

Romans 9:31-10:3 “But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. Why? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; for as it is written, “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.”
