In this dream, I found myself just staring into heavens on a clear moonless night. After a few moments, it was like that suddenly woke up to realize that I was not staring at stars but rather they were actual numbers that were illuminated in the same manner as stars; and just as numberless as the stars in heaven were, so did all of these numbers appear numberless. I then thought to myself, how could numbers appear numberless? It did not take me but a moment to realize that there was no sequential order to these numbers that I was seeing. It also did not take me but a moment to realize that because there were so many of these numbers, it could take me eternity to try and find which one was the highest number.

I also observed many clusters of stars that were made up of so many different numbers that they appeared just like a constellation of stars. I then began to examine these numbers in these clusters to see if they had any kind of sequential order to them, but I just saw numbers like an #81, next to #3,that was next to #480,240, that was next #612, that was next to #50025, that was next to #9. I tried to examine these clusters to see if they might form some kind of mathematical equation or scientific formula that help me understand why all of these numbers appeared as they did, but to no avail. Then this great feeling of heaviness came upon me, as though I was required to know just what the meaning “all” of these numbers were, and I had no clue whatsoever. Nevertheless, I felt so compelled to understand these numbers that I gave my complete attention to trying to figure out what they meant.

From the very first moment that I tried to figure out the meaning of these numbers, my mind became immediately overloaded with confusion, and frustration, and hopelessness. Even though this was a dream, I could clearly see that every thought that was coming into my mind trying to bring forth understanding concerning these numbers was accompanied with the word, “impossible“. My mind was so frustrated by this impossible task that the frustration itself actually woke me up from the dream; and when I awoke, I found myself to be just as confused, frustrated, and hopeless as I was in the dream. I do not know how I knew this, but there was something telling me that the only way that I come to know that which I was seeking for was for me to go back to sleep and re-enter this dream. I also knew that if I didn’t, then all of these miserable thoughts would continue with me. As I later thought back on this, I was amazed to remember that as soon as I closed my eyes, I immediately fell asleep; and as soon as I fell asleep, I immediately returned into this dream.

But this time, instead of seeing all of these numbers sitting in their stationary positions like the stars do, I saw that many flying around in many different ways. Some of them looked as though they blasting across the heavens in the same manner that a shooting star would, while others seemed to be spinning and spiraling out of control. Some of these numbers were doing loops, while others were turning themselves upside down, and then back into their previous position. There were some that would suddenly expand up to 5 times their size, then quickly deflate back to their original size. I had previously thought that I had never experienced confusion, frustration, and hopelessness like I had experienced in the first part of this dream, but now I felt like I had entered into a much higher level of all of these feelings. I felt like I had now entered into another realm of confusion that was made up of complete chaos and craziness. It did not take me but seconds to realize that in this realm, it was even madness to try to even think that someone could make any sense of these numbers. In just those few seconds, I was again so overwhelmed with this chaos and craziness that now added to my confusion, frustration, and hopelessness, that again I immediately woke up without even one attempt at trying to understand what I had been seeing. And just like the first time that I awoke, so also was it like that again, in that my awakening did not allow for me to escape from any of the confusion, frustration, chaos, or craziness that I had been experiencing in my dream. And just like the first time, I also knew that I could not be freed from of these utterly miserable thoughts that were in my mind unless I again went back to sleep and re-entered this same dream. There was so much misery in my thinking that I thought that it would be impossible for me to go back to sleep, but as soon as I closed my eyes, I again re-entered into the same dream.

As I re-entered this dream, I found it to be just as it was when I left it; still full of chaos, craziness, and confusion. But then I began to notice that something strange was beginning to happen. I saw like the numbers move next to other numbers, and it appeared as though one number would divide itself into the other; and then the higher number would just disappear. Then I saw numbers like 30 go over to the number 900, and when it divided itself into it, the 900 would disappear and all that would be left was the number 30. I then saw the number 725 go over to the number 525,675, divide itself into it, and the 525,675 disappeared, the number 725 remained. I then saw the number 13 go over to the number 469, and divide itself into it; and just like the others, the 469 disappeared, and the number 13 remained. I then realized that all of the numbers that I at first dividing themselves into the higher numbers, were reducing themselves down until all that was left were the numbers that had a whole number square root to it. I observed this action as it was happening throughout all of the heavens before me. It was also like I was seeing a subtraction of numbers through division. I continued to watch this subtraction by division until all that was left throughout the heaven were nothing but single digit numbers. I saw that all that remained were the numbers 2 thru 9. Even though there were only these few numbers left, there still remained among them a lot of chaos and craziness among these numbers.

Then the morning came and woke me up; and as I awoke, I found that this chaos, and craziness, and confusion was also still with me. Unlike before, I now knew that the only way that I could be delivered out of this state was for me to go and pray, and ask the Lord to give me understanding of this dream. As soon as I began to pray, I found myself again re-entering this same dream. This time I witnessed these remaining single digit as they began dividing themselves by themselves until there all that was left were eight number ones. Then these eight number ones began dividing themselves by themselves until all that was left was one number one. As soon as there was only one number one left, all of the chaos, all of the craziness, all of the confusion, all of the frustration, and all of the hopelessness completely left me. I then had this incredible feeling of peace that comes when you feel that everything is just the way that it should be. Though I did not yet understand what I had happened, I knew that all order had been restored.

I was still praying when the Lord then quickened to me that which he had previously taught me about that which is written in Jeremiah 4:22,23 “For My people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are senseless children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form and void; and the heavens, they had no light.” Then the Lord enlightened the eyes of my understanding so that I could see that the heavens that I had seen in my dream was this very same heaven that Father is speaking of in this passage of scripture. The Lord had taught me that this passage of scripture defines how God sees all carnally minded Christians. When the Lord was teaching me this, he reminded me of the day that he saved me, and gave to me the gift of his Holy Spirit. The day that I was saved was truly an incredibly dramatic day for me because my atheistic mind possessed nothing but pure unbelief that even God existed. Then suddenly, his Spirit filled me with nothing but belief that God was real. But that was all of the knowledge that I received in that moment. I had not receive any knowledge about who God was, or any understanding that defined his divine nature. Who was God? What was he like? What were his desires and pleasures? What was his will? Though I had been saved and had received his Spirit, my understanding and knowledge of God could only be defined as that which the Lord said in this passage of scripture from Jeremiah 4:22. I was completely ignorant of God.

I had an incredibly large hunger to know who this God was that had come and saved me. It was not long after this that I started visiting churches. And when I started going, I was puzzled as to why no one could feed me anything that would satisfy my hunger to know who God was. Many tried to feed me with their opinions, but I found out that man’s opinions are really worthless when it is used to try and satisfy the hunger of him who truly desires to know God. In fact, not only were any of man’s opinions able to answer my questions about God and his words, they only worked to confuse and frustrate me because I found that even from those who I sought my answers from, there was hardly any agreement among them at all concerning the questions I was asking. I was in that state where I believed that God and Jesus were real, which the demons also believed, but I still did not know anything else about them to believe on. One of the first things that the Lord opened my eyes to see was that laws and the doctrines of men do not reveal anything about God at all because all of their focus is on man’s righteousness and the works of men. So, it was with these questions that I set out on my quest, regardless of how long that it might take, to come to know and understand who my God and his son Jesus Christ were.

Matthew 11:27,28 “Jesus said, “All things have been delivered to me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father; and neither does anyone know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him to.”

Jeremiah 23:23,24 “Thus says the Lord, “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, nor let not the mighty man glory in his might, and neither let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.”

It was not until the Lord gave me his interpretation of Jeremiah 4:22,23 that I first learned what the heavens and the earth represented in this passage of scripture. The Lord first showed to me that the earth in this passage represents the state of the first man, that his body is earthy because it was formed from the dust of the earth (Genesis 2:7). It is in this first man that you will find that which is written in I John 2:15-17, that natural man is born subject to the lust of his flesh (to do his own will), the lust of his eyes (to be right in that which he sees), and the pride of his life (that which he accomplishes of himself), fulfilling that which is written in I Corinthians 15:47 “The first man is of the earth; earthy.” Then the Lord showed to me that the heavens in this passage of scripture represents the mind of man; the mind where all of the imaginations dwell that are ignorant of God and all things which are of God. Just as the night star is dark, so also is mind that has no understanding or knowledge of the truth about God. Just as it is not possible for a man to number the stars in the heavens, so also is it impossible for man to number the imaginations that bring forth the opinions that can conceive about God, and his words. All idolatry is conceived out of man’s ignorance of God because the best that ignorance can do is to form his own opinions about God.

Acts 17:29,30 “Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent…”

Ephesians 4:17,18 “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.”

Psalm 94:11 “The Lord knows the thoughts of man that they are vanity.”

I Corinthians 8:2 “If any man thinks he knows anything, he knows nothing as he ought to know.”

I Corinthians 2:11 “For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, the things of God knows no man, only the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the Spirit of the world (which is the spirit of man), but the Spirit which is of God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

II Corinthians 4:6 “For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

Ephesians 1:16,17 “Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.”

It was also when the Lord began interpreting Jeremiah 4:22 for me that he opened my to see clearly that the scriptures themselves confirmed that which the Lord had been teaching me when he led me to that which is written in I Corinthians 3:1-3 “And I brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with meat; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able because you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?” Here was this church that not only believed that God was real, that Jesus was the Son of God, but they also were walking in the gifts of the Spirit, yet Paul is saying to them, “You are still carnally minded and walking as men; that is, these were they which were spoken of in Jeremiah 4:22, they believed that God was real, but they did not know him. It was also with that passage of scripture that I began to realize that there was a spiritual realm that I had not walked in or experienced at any time in my walk; a spiritual realm wherein dwells a new heaven and a new earth, or rather, a new mind and a new heart. I was not only surprised and shocked by this revelation, but I was also stunned because in all of the preaching that I have heard, in all that which I had seen on Christian TV shows, in all of the teachings and the Bible studies that I had been previously involved with, and in all of the Christian conferences and meetings that I had attended until then, I not once heard anyone speak about that which Paul had said to the church are Corinth, “I cannot speak spiritual things to you because you are still carnally minded.” The envy, the strife, and the divisions that Paul found in the thoughts of the church at Corinth, I was well familiar with because that is all that I have ever experienced in the churches that I have visited or attended.

What could possibly be these spiritual things that Paul could not even speak in the ears of those who were walking in the gifts of the Spirit? I then remembered that Jesus himself said to his own apostles, “I have many things to tell you, but you are not yet able to hear them.” I was now completely persuaded that there was truly a spiritual realm that one could obtain in this life; a realm where the spiritual things of God are known. I knew this because Paul himself had this spiritual knowledge, and he wanted to speak it, but he knew that if he spoke these words, they would only become twisted and perverted when the carnally minded tried to interpret them with the imaginations of came forth from their natural wisdom and understanding. It was also at this church that Paul made what I personally consider one of the most profound statements written anywhere in the scriptures; that which is written in I Corinthians 8:2 “If any man thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.” Try telling this to those who esteem their opinions of the scriptures to be the truth. Even so, this verse also worked to confirm for me that which the Lord was teaching me about Jeremiah 4:22, that God was speaking about his “own people” when he called them foolish for not coming to know him.

Romans 10:2 “For I bear them record that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge; for they being ignorant of God’s righteousness have gone about and established their own righteousness, having not submitted to the righteousness of God (Matt.6:33)….11:7 “What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks, but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded…”

I myself then considered how and why I could have possibly thought that I was spiritually minded, when in truth, I was so far, far away from it. Then the Lord quickened the answer to me. It was the religion of my self-righteousness; that religion that is established when a man leans to his own understanding for interpretation of the scriptures. It was my own opinions that had deceived me into believing that I was spiritually minded when all I was just religious. Is this not what all hypocrites think about themselves, seeing that the focus of all self-righteousness is self, even though it is written that righteousness only belongs to God? It was here that the Lord began to enlighten my understanding to comprehend what the Lord was really saying in Jeremiah 4:22 “My people are foolish, they have not known me….” This was it! I saw that religion has nothing to do about “knowing God! My eyes were opened to see that religion only requires for you to come to know that religion, and not God. In fact, in most of the churches that I had attended, I was discouraged from seeking to know anything about God that was above or beyond that which was taught in that church.

Isaiah 29:13,14 13 Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me; and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men. Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people; a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden (for it is their religion that keeps them from drawing near to know God).”

Luke 11:52 “Woe to you, lawyers (so called experts in the laws of God)! For you have taken away the key to knowledge; you did not go in yourselves and you hindered and prevented those who were entering.”

I was now beginning to see how the Lord was using this verse to reveal to me exactly what the spiritual things were that Paul could not speak to the carnally minded, or rather, the religious church…the spiritual things that revealed the spiritual GOD! For it is as it is written, “God is Spirit”. I was also beginning to see that it is impossible for a man to use his worldly wisdom, his natural understanding, and the opinions of his carnal knowledge to interpret and know God; but when he uses these natural things to interpret the scriptures, then it is impossible for him to come up with anything other than his own religion. Is it any wonder that that there are so many different denominations and sects that are established on man’s carnal reasonings of the scriptures? They all profess Christ, but they all require their followers to come to know the faith of their religion, but to “know” God, they only work to hinder. As the church at Corinth was, full of division and strife, so also are all of denominations and sects that remain carnally minded.

I Corinthians 2:9-11 “But as it is written, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him. But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, no man knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

After I had recalled all of these things, I was then meditating on how the heaven having no light might relate to the heavens that I was seeing with all of these numbers. Then the Lord said to me, “All the numbers that I saw, they each represent an imagination that dwell in the thoughts of all those who are carnally minded. It is of these carnal thoughts that you the enmity that is against God, where the law of sin and death cannot subject itself to law of life that is in Jesus Christ. It is impossible for death to subject itself to joy, or love, or peace, or patience, or goodness, or any other spiritual thought that is subject to the law of life. Out of the darkness of man’s ignorance of God comes forth the false images of man’s opinions of God; and out of the opinions of man come forth all of the reasons that overcome the counsels of God; and out of these reasons come forth the doubts, the unbelief, the hesitations, the self-justifications, and the fears that make the words of God to be powerless. Out of these reasons comes forth the unbelief of God’s words, the doubts about Father’s love, the hesitation to follow him, the excuses that men use to justify their disobedience, and the pride of that thinks that God can be pleased by the good intentions and the best efforts of men. It is in these reasonings that comes forth the enmity that dwells in the carnal mind.” The Lord continued saying, “These numbers that you saw in the heavens, they represent the countless imaginations that pass through the thoughts of the carnal mind, leaving behind the reasons that always work to keep my people from drawing near to unto God. It is the enmity of this reasoning that keep my people from coming to know me so that they may partake in communion and fellowship with me. It is also the work of these reasonings to keep my people from enjoying the blessing’s of Father’s love. As it is written, “A man’s enemies are not flesh and blood“, but they are reasonings of these wicked imaginations that are at work to deceive him.

Genesis 6:5 “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

II Corinthians 10:3-6 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds and casting down imaginations (reasonings) and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

Is it not written that I said, “Follow me”? But then one answered with reason #80,094, “Lord, let me first go and bury my dead father first”; then another answered with reason #19 “Lord, I have a wife that I must first take care of; and another answered with reason #3,804, “Lord, I will follow you, but it is the time of the harvest, and it is first needful for me to bring in that which I myself have labored for.” Do you see how I said one word, but there are many, many different reasons that men may use to excuse themselves from obeying my words? How then can a man hearken to the instructions of God if he first bows the knee of his heart to keep and obey the instructions of his own reasonings? Is it not written that no man can have two masters; for he will trust one, and doubt the other; and he will love to do one while he makes light of the other? A man is tried and tested when the instructions of God’s words come face to face with a man’s own reasonings.

I Corinthians 15:1,2 “Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.”

Mark 4:14-20 “The sower sows the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty-fold, some sixty, and some an hundred.”

Matthew 8:18-22 “And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.” And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head (the mind of Christ that completely follows God).” Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

Then the Lord gave me a vision in which I saw a man standing and praying. Then the Lord appeared before this man and said, “Follow me”. I then observed as this man appeared to do just that, and he had a countenance on his face that seemed to be so joyous and willing to do follow the Lord. But then almost immediately, I saw this dark void came up from behind him like some kind of large storm cloud. And then from this void of darkness came forth many, many long skinny arms; arms that were so skinny that they more resembled some kind of tentacle rather than an arm. But I saw that at the end of each arm was a hand with long skinny fingers; and they were all trying to grab hold of this man to keep him from following the Lord. I then saw located in the palm of each hand was what appeared like some kind of retractable fang; and as soon as one of these arms was able to get a hold or grip on this man, this fang would immediately then spring out and pierce his skin. As soon as it pierced his skin, I saw what appeared like some kind of poison being injected into him. I then observed that as soon as this poison was injected into him, his entire countenance changed; joy had fled from him and unwillingness replaced his willingness. He then told the Lord that he could not follow him at that moment, using these that were being injected into him to justify himself in not obeying the word that the Lord had spoken to him that said, “Follow me”.

John 19:21 This he signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, “Follow me“.

Matthew 8:18-22 “And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. Luke 6:46 “Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?”

John 10: 26-28 “But you do not believe because you are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give to them eternal life. They shall never perish, and neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

John 12:26 “If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there also shall my servant be. If any man serve me, him will my Father honor.”

I was still looking at this man with all of these hands from the darkness holding onto him, when to absolute amazement, the Lord zoomed me out to where I was now looking at this man from a far distance. I was stunned when I saw that this what appeared as this dark void was not a void at all, but it was actually Satan’s head. And these long skinny arms that were taking hold of this man were coming right out of Satan’s brain. This scene completely resembled the pictures that I have seen of that mythical character known as Medusa; only this was not at all any kind of mythical scene. It was amazing to think that Medusa had snakes coming out of her head, while I was also seeing these long, skinny arms with a fang that resembled snakes. It was then that the Lord enlightened my understanding to comprehend that I was seeing Satan, our adversary, at work. It was also quickened to my remembrance something that the Lord had said to me years ago, “Mitt, Satan is not adversary to keep you from doing your own will, but he is adversary that works to hinder my people from doing my will.” Then the Lord said, “The lies of reasons are the words that Satan speaks to overthrow my words; reasons that work to hinder or prevent my people from following me.” I then realized that all of the reasons that had entered into this man that was before me, they were thoughts that were actually coming from Satan’s own mind. I have always taken heed to the scripture that identifies Satan as our adversary, but I had not once considered, or seen so clearly, how reasonings could be used as such a powerful weapon to overcome all of the counsels and instructions of God as I was now seeing. I reckon that I had not seen this clearly at all because of how justified I have felt in my own mind when I myself had used reasons to justify and excuse myself from following after the Lord.

Then two things immediately came into my mind. First, I have never met a man, including myself, that was not willing to give you a reason or an excuse for just about anything they have ever done, but especially for his mistakes and errors. I remembered also that the Lord had once told me that there is no skill that the carnally minded are more skilful at that the skill of finding reasons and excuses to justify himself with. It is the wide and easy path that Jesus warned us about that many will follow after that leads only to destruction. Not only is it easy to do, but it just seems so easy and comfortable to do. It used to be that men would offer up reasons and excuses for what they said or did, but these days, it seems that others are now demanding an excuse or a reason for any word spoken or any deed done that does not meet their approval or acceptance. And now here I am seeing with my own eyes that all such reasons and excuses are birthed right out of the mind of Satan. Is it any wonder that the Lord said, “Your thoughts are not my thoughts”?

The second thing that came to mind was the story of how Peter responded to Jesus after he had just told the apostles that he was going to Jerusalem, and there he would be delivered up, suffer many things, and then be killed. Then after Peter had considered what he had just heard, and having loved Jesus, he drew near to him, and with the best of the intentions of his reasoning, he tried to overthrow the will that God had prepared for his only begotten Son. But Jesus knew where the words of this reasoning were coming from, and so he first rebuked Satan for his lies, knowing whose head these thoughts had come from; and then he rebuked Peter for having agreed with Satan’s lies. What was really interesting to me was that Jesus identified that Peter was rebuked for thinking as men think, yet it was Satan himself that had brought forth these lying reasons.

Matthew 16:21-25 “From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things (the reasons of men’s imaginations) of men.” Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

This knowledge then brought me into a deeper understanding of man’s captivity to sin; for it is as it is written in I John 3:8 “He that sins is of the Devil, for the Devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the Devil (the lies of reasonings).” What is sin but the lies of the Devil that refuse to believe or hearken unto the voice of God’s words? Who was Jesus speaking to when he said, “You are of your father the Devil, and the desires of your father you will do”? Are these desires of the Devil the lies and reasonings that he brings forth in his attempts to overcome the words of God? I do not know about you, but many men, just like what Peter did, have tried to overthrow the counsels of God’s will for me through the use of reasonings. Are these the children of the Devil fulfilling his desires through them. I know that I myself, out of my own ignorance, have done the very thing that Peter also did; and just like Peter, the Lord corrected me also with rebuke. He did not cast me off, or reject me, or punish me, but he corrected me in his love. It is when God reveals to me the things that go deep, like showing where the reasonings of men comes from, that they are the very thoughts of the Devil, that it makes me so thankful that I am under the blood of the Lamb and in the grace of Father’s love; and I will remain there until the Lord finishes this work that he has started in me, casting down all of these wicked reasons and evil imaginations that oppose God and that contend with the voice of his words.

John 8:44 “You are of your father the Devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources (reasonings), for he is a liar and the father of it.”

Jeremiah 16:9 “Thus says the Lord,..12 “And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the imaginations of his own evil heart so that no one listens (hearkens) to Me.”

Hebrews 3:7,8 “Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness.”

I also remembered that Paul had rebuked the church at Corinth for this same purpose, for thinking as men thought. And what did Paul reveal to this church that the fruit of their carnal thoughts were: envy, division, and strife. What do men argue and strive about but when the reasonings of their opinions do not agree? James even identifies envy, strife, and divisions are the fruits of wisdom of this world; the wisdom that is earthy, sensual, and of the Devil. So many are deceived into thinking that have been set free, yet they are still walking in the disobedience of unbelief because they are still in bondage to obey the counsels of their reasonings rather than the words of God. If any man thinks that he is free, but he is using reasons and excuses to justify himself with, then he is deep in bondage to the lies of Satan, and does not even know it. I then thought how interesting it was to see that when Jesus rebuked Peter, he rebuked him for being mindful of the things of man; but it was Satan himself that was first rebuked for bringing his reasonings into Peter’s mind. I then perceived then that Jesus was implying that the mind of Satan and the carnal mind of man are one and the same: minds full of adversarial imaginations and reasonings that always stand ready to overthrow the counsels of God’s words.

Ephesians 4:19,20 “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their hearts.”

Romans 8:7 “For the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.”

Nahum 1:11 “There is one that comes from out of you that imagines evil against the Lord; a wicked counselor.” Thus says the Lord, “Though they are safe and likewise many, yet in this manner they will be cut down when he passes through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more; for now I will break off his yoke (the imaginations of his reasonings) from you, and burst your bonds apart.”

When this vision was over, the Lord returned my focus back to the dream that he had given to me. Then he said, “Did I not say that if any man was going to serve me, then he would have to follow me? And if any man will follow after me, then let him take up his cross, dispossess the reasons of his mind so that he may follow me down the straight and narrow path that leads to abundant life. It is this path that Satan has laid his snares and weaved his deceitful webs with the reasonings that attempt to ensnare the foolish with his lies. On snare may baited with reasons #148, #60,008, #5,020, #7,760, #300, and #42; reasons that are formed to turn my people away from the path that I have chosen for them to follow. Then there may be a web that Satan has weaved together with reasons #448, #6,920, #82,888, #12, and #940, 660, all designed to turn one away from the counsels of my words. Have I not declared in the heavens and the earth that I love you, that I will never leave you or forsake you? Yet, when things do not go your way, here come reasons #4,004, #386, #98, and #54,812 to deceive you with their lying reasons to believe I do not love you, and that I will leave you and forsake. Then Satan may bait that trap with reasons #744, #8,644, and #66, lies that are designed to join with the others that try to further persuade you into believing that I do not love you, and that I will leave you and forsake. Are you beginning to understand now, that the heavens that you see are not the heavens at all, but it is the darkness of the enmity that dwells in the carnal mind, the darkness that is full of all manner of reasons why a man should not trust God, or believe on any of the instruction of his words?”

I Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the Devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

Psalm 52: “You love evil more than good, lying rather than speaking righteousness. Selah. You love all devouring words, you deceitful tongue. God shall likewise destroy you forever, and he shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, and uproot you from the land of the living. Selah.”

I then asked the Lord what were the clusters of numbers that I saw that resembled constellations of stars. He answered and said, “Did I not cast one demon out of a man, but before I did, I asked him what his name was? Did he not answer saying, “Legion, for we are many”. And you yourself know that I have cast out many different spirits of fear out of you also, and though they all had a different nature, and counsels of reasonings that differed from one another, they still all worked to torment you continually with stress, and worry, and anxiety. Just as in a constellation of stars there are multitudes and multitudes of stars, so clusters of numbers will you multitudes and multitudes of different kinds of fears, but they all work together to keep your mind troubled with the lies of their reasonings: “What if this happens? What if that happens? What if nothing happens?” It is these types of reasonings that bring the confusion, the frustration, the craziness, and disorder into the thoughts of the carnal mind; thoughts that spiral out of control, that turn upside down, and that bounce all over your mind. Just as there are no two numbers that are alike in this cluster of numbers, so also do the thoughts of those who are in bondage to these fears hear many different kinds of reasonings that agree with that particular spirit of fear. One cluster of numbers, but many kinds of reasonings that work to keep you troubled, miserable, or tormented in your thoughts.

No matter how different the reasons are that provoke you to fear, they all designed with one purpose in mind, to turn you from the straight and narrow path that I have called you to walk in. Do you not remember hearing the reasonings that have spoken in your thoughts that have said, “If you do what the Lord says, then will you not look like a fool?”. Or, “If you hold fast to the counsel of God’s word, then will not those agree with his words reject you?” Or, “If you follow the Lord, then what will your family think?” Or, “What if you trust the Lord and he does not provide for you and your family?” If, if, if, if…this is THE single word that Satan uses to introduce the counsels of his reasonings into the thoughts of those who are carnally minded. Satan uses the “If” to open your mind to entertain the confusion and insanity of his lies. No one is of a sound mind that trusts in any such like reasonings. Those who follow me do not at all follow any reasonings. Do not the reasonings of fear forecast nothing but the suffering, or the doom and gloom, or pain, or the injury that is certainly going to come to you if you follow the Lord? There is no certainty in the lies of reasoning, but there is certainty in the truth of God‘s word; for you can be certain that if you follow after me, then you will see the good that I desire to bring forth in everything that you do; even in those things that may even first appear as though nothing but suffering or evil will come forth.”

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Then the Lord said, “Another one of these clusters of numbers that you saw, it might represent all of the different reasonings that men may use to interpret my words with. They are all opinions, but just like the stars in a constellation differ from one another, so also do the opinions that men have of my words also differ from one another. Though there is only one truth of my word, Satan has deceived men into believing that they can discover the truth through their own reasonings of my words. It is through these reasonings that lies of opinions are formed; and it is then through these opinions that all false images, false teaching, and false doctrines are established. When the reasoning of Satan and the scriptures are joined together, it brings forth iniquity (self-righteousness) and hypocrisy (play-acting Christians). As many different opinions there are of my words, so also are there just as many different images of Christ that have been conceived and brought forth from the reasonings of men. As I have told you before, it is impossible for the opinions of men’s reasonings to discover the truth of God; the truth is revealed from above to those who seek for the truth.

Romans 11:25 “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.”

I Corinthians 11:19 “For there must be also heresies (opinions) among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.”

Heresy: [Vines Dictionary of New Testament words] "a choosing, choice" ; then, "that which is chosen," and hence, "an opinion," especially a self-willed opinion, which is substituted for submission to the power of truth, and leads to division and the formation of sects.”

I Peter 1:1,2 “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words (the reasonings of their own opinions); for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.”

II Corinthians 2:17 “For we are not as many, which corrupt (deal deceitfully) the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”

Let me remind once again, that when I, the truth of God, came into this world, I came in the form of God, but I came also in the likeness of sinful flesh. The world did not know me, and neither did my people receive me because their reasoning could not comprehend my appearing. I was accused, criticized, despised, mocked, beat, scorned, condemned, and crucified because I could not be explained or defined by the reasonings of men. Even though I was the word of God made flesh, I was rejected because my doctrine did not agree with the doctrines that are formed from the reasonings of men. Those who use their own reasonings to interpret the scriptures with are the very ones that used my words to testify against me; the lies of their opinions of the scriptures verses the truth of God’s words. Their reasonings of the scriptures led them to judge, accuse and condemn sinners to death, while the truth of the scriptures led me to show mercy, compassion, and forgiveness. The light shined in the darkness, but the darkness could not reason it. As it was then, so also is it now. For as many as the numbers are that you saw in these clusters, so also are there just as many different denominations or sects that follow their opinions of the scriptures rather than following me. And today, even though the reasonings of their opinions continue to differ from one another, they still continue to use their reasonings of the scriptures to testify against me, the truth God’s words. Again I say to you, that it is Satan that brings forth all these different reasonings so that is able to seduce my people according to the different images their opinions make me out to be. The reasoning of men does nothing but twist and pervert the scriptures, to keep them from coming into the knowledge of the truth. There is only one truth, but many, many different opinions that are formed that bring forth an image of the truth; or rather, an image of me because I am the word of God made flesh. All false doctrines come forth from the reasonings of Satan, the architect of all lies; and his reasonings make my words to be powerless when his lies are believed to my truth.

II Timothy 4:3,4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

I Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron (no longer able to discern the truth of God from the reasoning of men).”

Mark 7:6 “Jesus answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: “This people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. And in vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.” He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God so that you may keep your tradition…13 making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

Isaiah 47:10 “For you have trusted in your wickedness. You have said, “No one sees me”; Your wisdom and your knowledge have perverted you. And you have said in your heart, “I am“, and there is no one else besides me.”

II Peter 3:15,16 “And consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

Psalm 56:5 “All day they (the hypocrites) twist my words; all their thoughts are against me for evil.”

II Peter 2:1 “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies (opinions; reasonings), even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.”

II Corinthians 2:17 “For we are not as many, which corrupt (deceive) the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Proverbs 21:16 “The man that wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.”

Before I testify in the next paragraph more about what the Lord showed to me about these “reasonings”, let me share something with you that Father had previously revealed to me about “blessing and cursing”. We all know that it is written in James that the Lord says, “The tongue is an unruly (without order) evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith we bless God the Father, but we curse men who are made after his image. Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing; and brethren, these things ought not to be so. I was asking thinking that for a man to curse another, he meant that he was speaking of evil him, and surely this is truth. But then the Lord said to me that he then defined cursing as “coming against one another”, and blessings “to be for one another”.

Then the Lord continued saying, “Do you see this cluster of numbers, the one that appears as though it is the largest constellation in this heaven? It is out this cluster that Satan brings forth the multitudes and multitudes of reasonings that men use to judge, accuse, and condemn one another, thus bringing destruction upon their own heads by judging other according to seemingly “just” reasons that come forth to counsel you judge, accuse, and condemn one another rather than to love one another like I commanded. As I told you before love always loves while reasons find fault with and point the finger of accusation at others. It is of these multitudes of Satan’s reasonings that the lies forth to entice all who carnally minded to judge others, blinding them to see that they are bringing destruction and condemnation upon their own heads. Again, all of these thoughts come directly from Satan’s mind, the god of this world, he who himself continually accuses the brethren and condemns the inhabitants of this world. As he uses his reasons to satisfy his desire to judge, to accuse, and to condemn, so also will all of the children of the darkness also desire to do the same.

Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.”

John 8:10-12 “When Jesus had raised himself up and saw no one standing there but the woman (who was caught in the act of adultery), he said to her, “Woman, where are those who accuse you? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I accuse (judge; condemn) you; go and sin no more.” Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

It is of these multitudes and multitudes of various kinds of lies that Satan uses to keep the carnally minded supplied with reasons to judge, or to accuse, or to point the finger of guilt, or to mock and scorn, or to blame, or to gossip, or to speak evil of, or to be envious or jealous of, or to criticize, or to find fault with one another, or to hate, or to slander one another. These are the various manners that the tongue uses to curse other men. Is it not written that I said, “Judge not lest you be judged; for with what judgment you use, that will be the manner of judgment that shall judge you. Those who judge without mercy are also they who shall be judged without mercy. Bless those who curse you.” Do you see how your adversary the Devil works, to supply you with the reasons that tempt to do that which I warned you not to do? Remember that I told you before that Satan is not the adversary to your will, but he is the adversary to my will, and all those who desire to do my will. Have you not considered the children of perdition, those that Satan has deceived into believing that they have the right to sit in the seat of judgment over the lives of others, using Satan’s “just reasons” to curse others? But unlike God, they sit to judge unjustly, and unmercifully, and without forgiveness, completely unaware they are only laying up wrath, destruction, and condemnation for themselves on that day when they shall be judged according to judgments they have used to judge others with; or rather, to be judged with the reasoning they used to curse others with.
